Marvel Multiverse Secret Wars Supplement Coming This Summer

This summer, Marvel is dropping one of its most ambitious tabletop releases yet as reality itself collapses into a single, doomed world.

Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game is expanding witha new Secret Wars Expansion, a massive new hardcover inspired by one of Marvel’s most iconic events. Drawing heavily from the 2015 Secret Wars, the expansion plunges players into a reality where the Multiverse has been destroyed, and God Emperor Doom reigns supreme over the remnants.

In Secret Wars, the shattered fragments of countless realities have been fused into a single patchwork planet: Battleworld. This expansion provides a full adventuring framework that lets players explore and fight their way across its wildly different domains. Expect neon-lit futures in 2099, zombie-haunted Deadlands, Gamma-irradiated wastelands, and many other locations stitched together by Doom’s will.

Beyond Battleworld itself, the book dives deep into the broader Marvel cosmos, with material covering the Fantastic Four, the Negative Zone, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and powerful cosmic forces and artifacts. The expansion also introduces new rules for handling Rank X characters, enabling play at godlike levels of power.

The 256-page hardcover is written by Matt Forbeck, and a special collectible Gen Con–exclusive variant cover by Francesco Manna and Jesus Aburtov will also be available later this summer.

Paired with the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: Core Rulebook, the Secret Wars Expansion is designed as a high-powered sandbox where players can save, or reshape, the last reality together.

If you’ve ever wanted to pit heroes and villains from across the entire Marvel canon against the fate of existence itself, Battleworld is calling.
