Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion: Chewbacca

Chewbacca was one of my favorite characters as a kid (the other being R2-D2), and was one of the first characters I could quote!

Here in designing Chewie, I had to grab from both Edge of the Empire and Age of Rebellion. Wookiees come from the EotE core book, while the Engineer/Mechanic comes from the AoR core book. I still stuck with Obligation for him, as Solo showed that everyone’s got an obligation to someone, and fits right into the style of game you’d be playing with these characters. I gave Chewie a total of 20 extra XP, just like Han. I didn’t end up bumping up his Stats, as Chewie doesn’t seem to be any stronger or smarter than any other Wookiee. It’s his skills and talents that make him stand out. I also gave him a blaster rifle, as he doesn’t have his bowcaster yet.

Talents: Wookiee Rage (When a Wookiee has suffered any wounds, he deals + 1 damage to Brawl and Melee attacks. When a Wookiee is Critically Injured, he instead deals + 2 damage to Brawl and Melee attacks), Gearhead (Remove 1B per rank of Gearhead from Mechanics checks. Halve the credit cost to add mods to attachments), Fine Tuning (When repairing system strain on a starship or vehicle, repair 1 additional system strain per rank of Fine Tuning), Solid Repairs 2 (When repairing hull trauma on a starship or vehicle, repair 1 additional hull trauma per rank of Solid Repairs).
