Pathfinder Launches Printed Miniatures Line with Titan Forge

Launching this April and powered by Titan Forge, the new Paizo Printables Tribe looks aimed squarely at the kinds of players and Game Masters who want to be able to bring Pathfinder to the table with their own printers.

Each release will include a brand-new PDF featuring stats for all of the miniatures in the set, along with a short adventure built around them. Alongside that, tribers will receive a matching set of miniature STLs, giving them the full cast of heroes, villains, and monsters needed to actually play through the scenario at the table.

That alone is a strong hook for GMs who like having ready-to-run material, but the bigger long-term draw may be the growing Welcome Pack. Paizo says it will start with 20 STL models and expand over time, building up a library of iconic Pathfinder characters and creatures that can be used across all kinds of campaigns. That gives this some appeal beyond just the monthly adventure format. Even if you are not planning to run every included scenario, a steady stream of printable Pathfinder minis could become a very handy resource for painters, collectors, and home-printers looking to bulk out their fantasy options.

What makes this especially interesting is how neatly it ties together adventure support and miniature design. Rather than just offering a pile of STLs or a standalone one-shot, Paizo Printables looks like it wants to give subscribers a full package: the story, the stats, and the models to put it all on the table in one go.

For Pathfinder fans with 3D printers, or anyone who has wanted official printable miniatures that feel directly connected to the game itself, this could be a very appealing new offering. It is one more sign that publishers are continuing to think beyond the rulebook, looking for ways to support the full play experience.
