X-Wing 2nd Edition Announced at FFG Hyperspace Report
Fantasy Flight announced the second edition of X-Wing. The game will be compatible with first edition, but will require a conversion kit for each faction. There are some really cool ideas presented in the new edition, major changes that were important to improve the quality and balance of the game.
Some of the biggest changes to the second edition of X-Wing are:
- General refinement of movement and combat.
- Force powers added to the game.
- All first edition ships can be made compatible with the second edition through Conversion Kits.
- An official squad-builder app now supports multiple game modes and governs the point cost of ships and upgrades.
